World leader in instrumentation and control systems for the refrigeration industry. Monitoring 1000’s of supermarket refrigeration units for all of the major food retailers across the globe.
A service failure in a refrigerated display within a large supermarket is a serious event for a retailer due to the food wasted, the money and the downtime lost. They required an enterprise solution comprised of an innovative and sophisticated suite of proactive management tools and options that strengthened the bottom line by lowering operation, maintenance and energy costs (from lighting, ovens and refrigeration equipment, as well as concession outlets) for the refrigeration process, while also maintaining regulatory compliance and standards.
C3 global were able to implement a control and monitoring system which was able to have the ability to measure, store, and retrieve huge volumes of detailed data throughout about the stores and their respective equipment, with the added bonus of being able to pull all of this information together and generate informed decisions. It enabled Danfoss to control and monitor their refrigeration equipment and energy consumption, provide them with an alarm based system to track potentially faulty systems based on different threshold levels across multiple sites, as well as organise maintenance responses.
Danfoss were able to transform data from multiple sources across multiple sites into a clear, concise picture for expense reduction, energy use and ROI-based decision making. They were also provided with not only the data but intelligent analysis, where they could not only identify when and where their systems were down, but also predict and identify when they are about to malfunction. By benchmarking, managers were able to recognize at a glance which stores were underperforming, where and why they were spending too much money and act upon it immediately.
